Prior to Transcend, Brett served as Chief Investment Officer for FunPlus, a leading global publisher for mobile strategy games. As the former managing partner of an early-stage venture capital firm, former President of JPMorgan Chase China and more, Brett brings a track record of significant accomplishments and a wealth of tremendously beneficial experience to Transcend. He has led teams across Asia, including as CEO of Citibank Vietnam, and served eight times as a governor of the American Chambers of Commerce across both China and Vietnam.
Creative, dynamic executives with a global perspective that are able to add value to digital entertainment companies at every stage of their growth are hard to find. Similar to when Andrew Sheppard joined last year, this marks an exciting new chapter for the firm and our partners. Brett’s decision to join the team speaks volumes about how far Transcend has come and what is next on the horizon. His executive leadership experience ranges from strategy and finance to hiring large teams and managing complex organizations. In addition to an impressive career in Asia, Brett also speaks four languages and holds a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Services from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
