It is a great pleasure to welcome Sikander Chahal to the Transcend team.
Sikander brings with him a rare combination of investment analysis and operational experience in the digital entertainment sector. As the first investment analyst at the internet-focused public equities fund BIT Capital, he worked on the inception of the firm's flagship fund and collaborated on the shape of their investment processes, portfolio management, and operational best practices. He brought this same pioneering spirit to London Venture Partners where he built and launched their first platform for portfolio companies and learned the dynamics of early-stage gaming. With an eye to deepening his understanding of the industry, Sikander joined game analytics firm Newzoo as a Management Consultant, where he worked on special projects, including the commercial diligence for a $1.9B gaming SPAC.
An avid gamer since before he can remember, Sikander finds inspiration in working alongside visionary founders building the next generation of blockbuster video games. In his spare time, he enjoys tech-house music, bouldering, playing board games and attending music festivals with his closest friends. As a player, Sikander is a bit obsessed with Dota 2 and was top percentile ranked at one point. His favorite game of all time is Final Fantasy VIII.
We are thrilled to have Sikander with us at Transcend and look forward to the impact of his contributions at the firm and around the portfolio. Welcome, Sikander!
